“Shaka has been together for three years, but our story goes back much further. We first met at school, where the music department was a place of high standards, creativity, and endless opportunities. After going our separate ways, we eventually reunited to form Shaka – a high-energy Soul, Funk, and Dance band with one goal: to fill dancefloors and bring great music to every space we play. Last year, we introduced the Shaka Duo, featuring Ellis and James (our singer and guitarist), who have been friends for over a decade. The duo delivers well-loved hits from across the decades and also hosts a live music quiz in several spaces each month.
